Al-Islam.org is created and maintained by the Ahlul Bayt Digital Islamic Library Project (DILP), a registered Non-Profit in the United States. Its team consists of skilled professionals from around the world.

Ever since the site began in 1995, Al-Islam.org has been one of the foremost destinations on the internet to learn about Islam. It consistently ranks on the first page of Google for several keywords, receiving more than half a million unique visitors every month from almost every country in the world.
The Project
Al-Islam.org digitized and hosted 2400+ quality Islamic full-length texts, journals and videos, each carefully curated by the team, as well as hundreds of other high-quality resources.

The topics covered range from spirituality and philosophy to history and family ethics. These are read by the young and old alike, and the information from the site is also referenced by the likes of politicians, academics and scholars. Hundreds of Wikipedia articles quote material on Al-Islam.org as an authoritative reference in their citations.
Target Audience
Anyone who has an interest in any topic related to Islam and Muslims. Thousands of users visit the site every day for various purposes. Most of the users land from Google search.

My main task was to re-design the home page of the site to meet new UI trends and also incorporate new features and make changes keeping the usability in the mind.

Al-Islam TV Pages
Al-Islam.org has a collection of lectures, short clips, Quran and supplication recitations and many more, several of them are very old and rare. While upgrading the site an idea emerged to create a unique page of media items that incorporate all the stuff in a very nice and clean way from where users easily navigate the items according to the category, people and types. Other than the collection of media items it was also decided to show all available live streams on one page which helps users in many ways.
